Sun Postpaid extends all network texting Power Up service until April 30, 2013

Sun Cellular, one of the country’s leading carriers of mobile postpaid services, announces the extension of the Sun Anti-bill Shock Text All Power-up Plan 199 until April 30, 2013. This is Sun Postpaid’s add-on service which offers 1,000 texts to other networks for only P199 per month.

“Through this best-value text offering, we provide our Sun Postpaid customers a boost in their interconnectivity, letting them reach an even larger community of mobile users, including those outside the Sun network,” says Ricky Peña, Senior Vice President for Postpaid, Broadband, New Business and Marketing Services of Sun Cellular.

On top of the generous text allocation, the Sun Text All Power-up service also includes the Sun-pioneered Anti-bill Shock feature. Once subscribers exceed the allotted 1,000 tests to other network, they get charged with regular internetwork texting rates, but once the bill for the service reaches P549, charging stops and then the subscriber’s text profile becomes unlimited.

“It’s important for us to guarantee our customers with peace of mind when texting their friends and loved ones using other network carriers,” Peña adds. “This special bill cap feature will help make sure of that.”

Apart from this special text offering, Sun Postpaid also offers other add-on services that subscribers can avail on top of their regular service profiles, and help them save on costs on different mobile services. Among these are the Power-ups for BlackBerry services, international calls, landline calls and mobile internet.
