Sun Cellular Backs 1st General Trias Youth Leader’s Summit

Mobile operator Sun Cellular showed its support to the country’s young leaders by participating in the first-ever General Trias Youth Leader’s Summit held at the Lyceum of the Philippines – Cavite auditorium last June 7, 2012.

Themed as “Kabataang Caviteno, Progresibo, Handa sa Hamon ng Pagbabago,” the summit aimed to instill in the youth their roles as future leaders in their respective communities.

HR Manager for Sun Cellular, Pryncess Pernia-Esguerra facilitated a seminar that tackles on the basics of public speaking, giving the participants critical pointers on overcoming the youth’s hesitancy to speak in front of a large audience, as well as various ways of conveying their messages effectively.

Aside from Pernia-Esguerra, other speakers present in the summit are Sen. Miguel Zubiri, journalist Kara David, and Rev. Fr. Carmelo Caluag.
