What is Give-a-Load?

Give-a-Load is a service exclusive to Sun Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers that enables them to send load credits to other Sun prepaid subscribers. Subscribers can send load credits as low as P1.00 and a maximum of P20 per transaction.

What are the requirements for using the Give-a-Load service?

A Postpaid subscriber must be within his credit limit and a Prepaid subscriber must have sufficient regular load in his account in order to send load via Give-a-Load.

What is the maximum amount of load I can transfer?

Per transaction, the minimum load transfer amount is P1 and the maximum is P20. However, Postpaid subscribers can only transfer a maximum total of P500 per month. Prepaid subscribers don't have a monthly load transfer limit.

How can I transfer load to another prepaid sub via Give-a-Load?

You can either transfer direct via text or USSD. However, only Prepaid subscribers can transfer load via USSD. There is also an option to include a security PIN whenever you transfer. The security PIN ensures that load is not transferred without your knowledge.

    • To transfer direct via text, simply do the following:
      • Step 1: Text amount (P1- P20) <space> 11-digit mobile number
        Example: 3 09223214567
      • Step 2: Send to 2292
    • To transfer direct via USSD, simply do the following:
      • Step 1: Dial *238#10-digit mobile number*amount*PIN#
        Example: *238#09223214567*2*12345#

        Note: Default PIN is 00000; only available for Prepaid subscribers

      • Step 2: Press SEND, YES, or OK key on your handset
    • To include a security PIN, do the following
      • *Step 1: Text REG4 char PINdate of birth (dd/mm/yr)
        Example: REG 1234 01/24/78
      • *Step 2: Send to 2292

        *Note: Only do Step 1 and 2 the first time you register your security PIN. For subs who have registered their PIN, simply follow step 3 and 4 to transfer load
      • Step 3: Text amount (P1- P20) <space> 11-digit mobile number <space> PIN
        Example: 3 09223214567 1234
      • Step 4: Send to 2292

Can I change my PIN and how can I change it?

Yes, you can change your Give-a-Load security PIN. To change your PIN, simply do the following:

    • Step 1: Text PIN <space> old PIN <space> new PIN
      Example: PIN 1234 4321
    • Send to 2292

Can I choose to cancel my Give-a-Load security PIN at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your Give-a-Load security PIN any time. To cancel, simply do the following:

    • Step 1: Text UNREG <space> PIN
      Example: UNREG 1234
    • Send to 2292


Note: You can still send load via Give-a-Load after you cancel your security PIN. Simply do the following:

    • Step 1: Text amount (P1- P20) <space> 11-digit mobile number
      Example: 3 09229220110
    • Send to 2292

Is there additional charge aside from the load amount sent via Give-a-Load?

Yes, there is a nominal One Peso (P1.00) fee for every Give-a-Load transaction as well as registering your security PIN, changing or canceling your security PIN and accessing HELP via 2292.
